In Projects, Web-only post by Shafaque

The National Surgical Research Collaborative are delighted to announce the launch of ‘The PREDICT Study’ in collaboration with the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ).

This is an international validation study evaluating the predictive ability of the trajectory of a rising CRP post-operatively in relation to an anastomotic leak.

Pilot work by the Australian group has revealed promising preliminary data that requires validation in a larger cohort.

Please contact the email below to request the protocol as well as a REDCAP datasheet for more detailed information.

Registration begins on the 20th of October 2017 with an 8-week data collection period to begin from the 8th of January 2018. Kindly register your interest prior to this date.
